The Goodbody 2019 EIIS fund has invested €1.6m in TEKenable in 2020.
TEKenable is an Irish SME that is delivering the latest innovative business solutions to forward thinking public and private enterprises both in Ireland and the UK. TEKenable operates in a number of sectors including Healthcare, Financial Services and the Public Sector. In 2019 the Company was named Technology Business of the Year (Business All-Star Awards), were listed in the Deloitte Fast50 and won the Deloitte Impact Award.
The Fund’s investment in TEKenable signals its strategy to invest in good quality, innovative Irish SME’s.
Separately, the Company has recently acquired Dublin-based Greenfinch Technology. Greenfinch are a software development company that specialise in cloud solutions, mobile applications, and software for medical devices.
The acquisition will help TEKenable’s growth ambitions and allow it to enter new markets. The Company have operations across Ireland, UK, Spain, and the Middle East. The acquisition involves the Greenfinch executive team and a further 26 employees joining TEKenable.
