Located in Slane, County Meath, the 2023 and 2024 Goodbody EIIS Funds’ have invested €2,500,000 and €2,087,300, respectively.

Along with with a private placement round coordinated in 2024, the solar farm has raised a total of €5.5m in EIIS funding.

The funds are being used to support the projects development, targeting a commercial operation date in 2026. The project has qualified for the Small-scale Renewable Energy Support Scheme (SRESS), securing a 15-year government backed income contract from the sites energisation date. Once complete, the site will generate enough power to supply 1,800 homes a year.
